Bluegrass and BBQ

Thu, May 7th 2015 9:42 am by Branson Shows and Attractions

This May at Silver Dollar City

Bluegrass Music and BBQ are staples here in Ozark Country. I'm pretty sure this is where Bluegrass originated, and BBQ is one of America's pastimes, almost everyone loves BBQ! (and trust me here in the Ozarks we know how to BBQ) So because of these wonderful things Silver Dollar City, or SDC as us locals call it, dedicated a whole festival to them.

Bluegrass and BBQ is a must do every year for my husband and I. With all the different performers, great food, not to mention all shopping and rides, we go fairly often in the spring! There is something for everyone here. This year I am most excited about seeing the Willis Clan. They were seen on America's Got...

Something for Everyone

Mon, Apr 13th 2015 10:00 am by Branson Shows and Attractions

Whether You're 1 or 100, You Will Love it Here

Coming from a bigger family, and an even bigger extended family it can be difficult to find something everyone likes to do. Thankfully, Branson is a family friendly town, and the downtown part happens to be one of our favorites.

Historic Downtown Branson is full of locally owned shops and restaurants. Some of them have been here for years and years. There are 3 that are must see's, the first being Main St Flea Market. Full of local treasures you can find great antique's or vintage items here. Next is Dick's 5 and 10, which is my personal favorite place to get gift's for that person who seems to have everything. My little cousins seem to l...
